Compact & Versatile

hts 2

The lightweight, flexible option for smaller campaigns and temporary transfer setups.
HTS 1/2 is designed for fast mobilization and smaller-scale offshore operations, providing reliable crane-free hose handling where deck space and footprint matter.

Key Features:

  • 690 bar / 10,000 psi working pressure capability
  • Compact and easily mobilized design
  • Ideal for vessel-to-vessel or vessel-to-platform transfers
  • Remote-controlled connection and release
  • Zero-spill valve integration and EQD (Emergency Quick Disconnect)
  • Suitable for operations requiring a 3-inch ID solution

Unique Advantages:

Smaller, lighter and faster to deploy — perfect for spill response, tank emptying and temporary transfer operations.

Background & Purpose

Well Cleanup developed the Hose Transfer System (HTS) after years of seeing offshore operations delayed or stopped by one recurring challenge — the dependency on cranes for hose handling. Traditional fluid transfer required calm weather, large lifting spreads and significant manual rigging, creating safety risks and costly downtime. Our engineering team in Stavanger set out to design a system that could connect vessels and platforms without cranes, without people in unsafe areas and reducing waiting on weather. The result was the patented HTS — a modular, remotely operated transfer system that redefines how fluids are moved offshore. Developed and manufactured in Norway in close collaboration with Norwegian suppliers and offshore operators, every HTS is built, tested and certified locally before deployment.

Feature/BenefitHose Transfer System (HTS™)Traditional Crane Transfer
Connection Time
Connects in minutes with automated hose handling
Takes hours due to rigging, lifting and coordination
Weather Dependency
Operates safely in higher wind and wave conditions
Limited to calm seas and daylight operations
Safety
No suspended loads or personnel near tensioned wires
Requires manual handling and deck crews in high-risk zones
Spill Control
Zero-spill valves and automatic sealing during EQD
Risk of fluid loss during disconnection or hose handling
Personnel Requirement
Remote controlled from safe location
Needs multiple operators, riggers and crane crew
Setup Flexibility
Works between vessels, platforms or subsea
Restricted to fixed crane reach and lifting gear
Operational Uptime
Extends weather window and reduces standby time
Frequent waiting-on-weather and downtime
Environmental Impact
Sealed system with no overboard discharge
Higher spill risk and more equipment on deck
